Here we go again…

For the last two years Leah Spicer and Kyle Beach and their incredible team have operated Homecoming Restaurant at the White School.

and now, we are so excited to bring you a new restaurant called Renuion. Reunion will build on what we have all grown to love at Homecoming. Delicious food, welcoming atmosphere, yummy cocktails, good wine, a place to gather, fresh pasta, and so much more.

We are working around the clock to get our new restaurant open at the beginning of July.

We are thrilled to call another beautiful old building home, our new restaurant will be located at 134 W Jefferson Street, also in Spring Green, Wisconsin.

The People

Often times people will ask us, how do you do it all? And the truth is that we do not do it all. We have a team of incredible people who share the responsibility and joy that come with owning a business.

Change is always bitter sweet, but we are so humbled and proud to have a team that it big enough and talented enough to split up. Christian Amador will remain at Homecoming as the Director of Operations, and Chance Spivey will be running the show at Reunion.

We could not be more excited about what the future will hold for all of us.

The Restaurant

Spring Green has a number of high quality agricultural producers within a few miles. Amazing meat producers like Enos Farms, Seven Seeds Farm, Straightforward Farms and Cates Family Farm. In addition there is excellent produce from Steadfast Acres and Mary’s Homestead farm, our family farm and many many others. We are lucky to be able to have this bounty, and more importantly, to serve it to the community that works so hard to grow and care for it. It brings us no greater pleasure for a guest to remark how wonderful a dish is and for us to point to the famers family also dining in the restaurant. This is simply why we do what we do. We love exploring food and flavors, and feature many events and popups throughout the year. We offer a range of local and regional craft beers, an extensive wine list, and craft cocktails.

Chance Spivey has been cooking for the Spring Green community for the last two years and those of you who have tried his food know what a talented chef he is. Chance has been a trooper working on induction burners in an ad-hock kitchen and the food he has pulled off is truly a feat. We cannot wait to see what is possible in a real kitchen.

The Values

It is of the utmost importance to us that Reunion be an inclusive and welcoming space. We want this to be true if you are an employee, a service contractor, a vendor, or of course—one of our dinner guests.

We will be institutionally committed to providing the highest level of service. Everyone we interact with will be treated with a respect and warmth that reflects our genuine love for this community, and we will always strive to meet the needs of our community—both its permanent members and those just passing through.

We will set a work-place culture of good wages, fair treatment, inclusion, and respect. This means paying our staff a $15 per hour starting wage and always making sure that Reunion is a fulfilling and sustaining place to work.

This means owning up to our mistakes, learning from them, and trying harder the next time. This means humility and grace with each other and ourselves.

Beverage Program

We could not be happier to have Hannah Feller as our beverage director for Homecoming and Reunion.

If you have ever enjoyed a glass of wine at Homecoming, or bought a bottle and went back for another, chances are Hannah picked it out.

We cannot wait to see the wine list grow at Reunion and what beautiful choices Hannah will make. Cheers to this new beginning!
